Getting Started

• Download the indexing program on your computer 

You will only need to download the program one time. 

• Go to FamilySearch and log in. www.familysearch.org  If you do not have an account, follow the prompts to create one.

• Click on Indexing

• Then select "Get Started" 

• Click the blue "Download" button and follow the directions. 

• After the program is downloaded, you will see the tree icon on your desktop.
